Herb Sourcing, Testing and Processing
Wildcrafted herbs are grown naturally in the wild without any human interference. Organic herbs are grown similar to traditional crops but adhere to organic farming regulations such as not using man-made fertilizers or pesticides.
Most of our herbs are wild crafted, planted and cultivated in private Mexican fields. We source our other herbs (European, Asian, etc.) from trusted, long-term suppliers.
Each batch of our imported herbs include a comprehensive certificate of analysis, guaranteeing the highest quality and safety standards. To fortify security and safeguard during international transit, we employ strict protocols. We place every shipment in a single, locked container for transport.
Upon arrival at Evergreen Herbs in Milwaukee, WI we send samples of each and every received herb to a 3rd party certified lab, such as Certified Labs, Sora Labs and Alkemist Labs. The lab tests each sample for microbiology trespassers like Salmonella, Ecoli, Aerobic Plate Count, Staphylococcus Aureus, Yeast, Mold, and Enterobacteriaceae.
Once we receive electronic confirmation that the sample conditions have passed, the we add the product to our website.
We do! All processing and product manufacturing is done in-house at our Milwaukee facility. Our team processes the dried herbs into powders, capsules, and tea bags. We follow GMP guidelines, and we have registered with the FDA and Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection.
Finally, our products are sealed in food-grade bags to ensure freshness and continued quality control.
We recommend storing your herbs in a cool, dry place to ensure they maintain their freshness and effectiveness.
